Balloon Museum | An Immersive Experience at Pier 36 South Street NYC

Updated: Dec 8, 2023

Starting this fall 2023, If you’re looking for something different but fun to do with the family, solo or as an immersive date-night fun, head to the BALLOON MUSEUM at Pier 36 South Street New York aka lower Manhattan. Yes you heard right, there’s a museum dedicated to balloons. The inflatable experience is called "Lets Fly" featuring colorful interactive artworks by fourteen international artists. The space throughout the museum takes you on a journey that delights your senses of sight, touch and play.

If you’re a fan of Emily In Paris, then I'm sure you’ve seen the museum featured in season 3.

The inflated experience is great for all generations to enjoy, and if you’re big on creating fun contents like myself, then this is your visual inspo to grab your tickets and experience it for yourself IRL.

Highlights from the VIP opening night with a live DJ in the ball pit, open bar and bites. The ball pit was so fun, due to the light installation/showcase + the balloon color theme, it's like a stormy balloon cloud over a sea of balls...lol. I'm sure it will be your favorite too.

One of my favorite photo moments was this cloud puff.

It's like candy! 👅💕

I call this the moving DONUT. The installation moves up and down similar to the segments of a caterpillar revealing different symmetries ...hehe
