HENDRICK'S GIN Floral Pop UP | Grand Central

Hello SUMMER! Today is the first day of summer, so I thought I'd recap my experience from a popup a few weeks ago. HENDRICK'S Gin hosted a popup by grand central back in early June. It was the cutest thing, a floral explosion with a combination of artificial and real flowers. There was a white european style phone booth decked out with flowers, a white swing with surrounding florals, a curated selection of fresh flowers for making your own little bouquet, and a few nature inspired stilt walkers to enhance/bring your visual sensory to life. Talk about a great photo opp for the gram :)

In addition to all the floral oohs and ahhs, there were two cocktail tastings; the "Midsummer Spritz" ( HENDRICK'S midsummer solstice, lemon juice, elderflower cordial, and fever-tree club soda) and "The Salty Dog" (HENDRICK'S midsummer solstice, red grapefruit juice, grapefruit slice). I tried both, but preferred the Midsummer Spritz. It's more refreshing, a perfect summer drink to cool you down. Just be sure to add some edible flowers, makes for a pretty and tasty drink.

Overall, I really enjoyed the event. Loved the whole production from the floral visuals, photo opp stations, and brand ambassadors. My only complaint was, the cocktail tasting size could have been a wee bit bigger for the two drink tokens given, or more than two tokens for the small-sized tastings.
