Negris LeBrum World Peace Collection at NYFW FW-24

Houston, TX – Negris LeBrum, the brainchild of designer and creative director Travis Hamilton, showcased its latest collection, the World Peace Collection, at New York Fashion Week (Fall Winter 2024-25) on Monday, February 12th. This season marks yet another milestone in Negris LeBrum's journey, promising to unveil the next captivating chapter in the brand's narrative.

The World Peace Collection has sparked anticipation within the fashion community. Presented to a audience comprising industry insiders, influencers, and devoted patrons, the collection introduces an array of innovative textile colors and patterns, including ostrich prints, tweed-sequin combinations, graffiti knits, and poly silk ensembles.

Reflecting on his remarkable professional trajectory, Travis Hamilton reminisces about a pivotal moment that continues to inspire each of his collections. He shares, "I've been fortunate to encounter incredible experiences in this industry and to cross paths with immensely talented professionals who serve as perpetual wellsprings of inspiration. Among these, one standout moment remains the inclusion of Negris LeBrum in the August 2021 Vanity Fair Italy editorial (Print issue), alongside esteemed global heritage brands such as Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Dolce & Gabbana."

Hamilton's odyssey in the fashion realm is deeply intertwined with his passion for storytelling. Drawing inspiration from the extraordinary love saga of Negris, a captivating French Creole woman, and Sam LeBrum, a charismatic black man, Hamilton's designs pay homage to their enduring romance, which unfolded amidst the tumultuous social backdrop of the 1940s. Against all odds, their love triumphed, and Hamilton's enchanting creations serve as poignant vessels, continuing to narrate their timeless tale to audiences worldwide.

EVAN HIRSCH

Designer Evan Hirsch unveiled his highly anticipated Fall 2024 runway collection on Tuesday, February 13th. Drawing inspiration from the captivating world of Last Epoch, an action role-playing game by Eleventh Hour Games, Hirsch's collection pays homage to the diverse personas within Last Epoch, each imbued with their own distinct characteristics and style. From the rugged Primalist to the enigmatic Acolyte, Hirsch seamlessly translated the essence of these characters into a cohesive and innovative collection which, when married with the up-and-comer’s transformative design wizardry, truly made for a captivating experience for

those in attendance.

"When I first came across the game, the first thing I noticed was the highly stylized characters and how every single one had a distinct look that made each one unique," said Hirsch. "Working with Last Epoch has allowed me to embrace the fantasy and fantastical elements that I love when designing."

The collection features an eclectic mix of textures, fabrics, and silhouettes, with each piece meticulously crafted to embody the spirit of its respective character class. Fur stoles reminiscent of the ones worn by the Primalist hides quilted brocade inspired by the Rogue's weaponry, and lux velvet reflecting the regal garb of the Mage are just a few highlights from the storied lineup.

Hirsch's trademark transformative designs, which routinely earn more than 50 million views on TikTok, were the perfect complement to the dynamic nature of the Last Epoch ethos, where characters evolve and grow in power throughout the game. From the intricate detailing to the bold color choices, every aspect of the collection reflects Hirsch's signature creativity and dedication to his craft.

"I am so thankful to the Eleventh Hour family for being so amazing through this entire process," Hirsch added.

Evan Hirsch's Fall 2024 runway collection is a testament to his ability to merge fantasy and fashion seamlessly. In what was his first full collection to walk the runways during NYFW, the designer continued to push the boundaries of the runway, leaving a lasting impression on the fashion world. While several pieces crossed the line into what many would consider costume, at the core of each piece was unbridled creativity from which can be distilled some seriously wearable pieces that would prove at home on the red carpet, bridal aisle, or cocktail party of choice. Evan has caught the eye of TV host Tamron Hall, who featured him as one of her designers to watch last month on her eponymous talk show and has invited him back several times since to follow-up on his progress. It seems that it is not just his 1.5 million plus organic followers alone who find his talent worthy of note.
