H&M has a new collection that is sure to get your attention with bold colors, african prints and stylish silhouettes.The designer, Palesa Mokubung, a south african native taking over the fashion industry with her collection, Mantsho X. The meaning behind the name is "black is beautiful." Indeed! Palesa refers to her label/collection as "her love letter to the world from Africa," and what a love letter it is.
To preview the collection, H&M hosted a media/vip shindig at their showroom in the city. This is the first time the retail giant has collaborated with an african designer, and we couldn't be happier. We are thrilled to see this new union launch in stores on August 15.
Kudos to the creative teams on both ends for making the magic happen.
